This scholarship was established in 1998 in memory of Paul William Bunyan, an ANU student who planned to pursue a career in cancer research but died of cancer just after he was presented with his Bachelor of Science in November 1997.


Applicants must be Honours students in medical science (relating to cancer research and allied fields) with the John Curtin School of Medical Research.
